The cleaning quality of the slip ring parts has a vital impact on the safe and stable driving of the motor car. A collector ring (outer sleeve) is installed on the outer axle of the inner bearing gland of the gear box, and the carbon brush of the grounding device is under the spring pressure. Under the action of, it keeps radial close contact with the collector ring, the collector ring collects the leakage current on the car, and conducts it to the grounding wire through the carbon brush and the conductive plate. The current conduction process is from the collector ring, carbon brush, conductive plate, grounding wire, and finally the whole vehicle is grounded. Therefore, it is of great significance for the cleaning of the surface corrosion of the slip ring, which can not only greatly increase the service life, but also ensure the safe operation of the entire train, and it is very important to find an efficient and high-quality cleaning method.

For the slip ring, the existing cleaning technologies are mainly high-pressure water cleaning, mechanical cleaning, chemical cleaning, ultrasonic cleaning and laser cleaning. However, these traditional rust removal methods have their own limitations, such as serious pollution, difficult to guarantee the cleaning quality, and low degree of automation.

At present, laser rust removal is an emerging cleaning technology. The use of laser rust removal technology to remove rust on the gearbox surface has the advantages of high cleaning efficiency, good cleaning quality, green environmental protection and easy automation, and has a wide range of application prospects. Using laser rust removal technology, the laser rust removal process experiment was carried out on the surface rust of the collector ring, which realized the complete removal of the rust on the surface of the material and revealed the silver-white metal matrix.

According to the national standard GB8923-88, the original rust degree of the collector ring sample was judged, and it was found that the steel surface had been severely rusted, so the rust grade of the sample was judged to be B grade. Due to the extreme thickness of the surface rust, many pits are formed in the material after the surface of the collector ring is severely rusted, making the removal of surface rust extremely difficult. After laser rust removal and cleaning, it can be found that the surface of the collector ring has been completely removed. , And the substrate is not damaged.

After optimized process cleaning, the cleanliness of the collector ring surface reaches the Sa2 standard. Compared with the surface of the original sample with a rust grade of B, it presents a good metallic luster, no residual rust layer on the surface, and no weak adhesion. The effect of cleaning.
